By booking any tour, charter, liveaboard experience, or travel service through our website, social media channels, messaging platforms, or authorized representatives, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are designed to ensure a safe, transparent, and enjoyable travel experience for all guests.

1To reserve a tour with Sail Komodo Tour, guests may contact us through our official website, email, WhatsApp, or any authorized communication channel. Our team will assist you throughout the booking process and provide all necessary trip details.
2Once your reservation request has been reviewed and accepted, a booking confirmation will be issued via email or WhatsApp.
3A reservation will only be considered confirmed after the required deposit payment has been received.
4After the payment has been successfully processed, guests will receive a payment acknowledgment and booking confirmation from our team.
5In accordance with Komodo National Park visitor registration requirements, guests must provide valid identification documents before departure:

• International travelers: Passport copy
• Indonesian citizens: National ID card (KTP) copy
6To avoid delays caused by flights, ferry schedules, weather conditions, or transportation disruptions, we strongly advise guests to arrive at the departure city at least one day before the tour begins.

Important Note

Guests are responsible for ensuring that all personal information and travel documents provided during the booking process are accurate and valid. Sail Komodo Tour shall not be held responsible for issues arising from incomplete or incorrect guest information.

Step 1: Confirm Your Reservation

To secure your booking with Sail Komodo Tour, please complete the following requirements:

A. Passport or Identification Copy

As part of our booking procedure, we require a copy of each guest’s identification document for registration and travel administration purposes.

  • International travelers must provide a copy of their passport.

  • Indonesian travelers must provide a copy of their KTP (National Identity Card).

This information helps us ensure that all passenger details are accurate and properly registered for the trip. Please send a scanned copy or a clear photo of the required identification document as soon as possible.


B. Deposit Payment

A deposit payment is required to secure your reservation and guarantee your seat on the trip.

  • The minimum deposit required is 30% of the total trip cost.

  • Your booking will be officially confirmed once the deposit payment has been received.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the departure date.

For bookings made less than 7 days before departure, full payment may be required at the time of booking.


C. Deposit Payment Methods

For your convenience, Sail Komodo Tour offers several payment options:

Bank Transfer

Guests may transfer the deposit directly to our designated bank account. Bank details will be provided after you confirm your preferred payment method.

Wise / Revolut

Payments via Wise or Revolut are also available. However, please note that we are currently unable to create or maintain Wise/Revolut business accounts in Indonesia.

Therefore, payments through these platforms are processed manually using bank account details that we will provide upon request. If you choose this option, our team will send the necessary banking information and payment instructions.


Next Step

Once you have selected your preferred payment method, please inform our team. We will provide the appropriate payment details and assist you throughout the reservation process. After your deposit has been received and verified, we will send your official booking confirmation along with the necessary trip information.

Step 2: Provide Your Arrival Information

To help us organize a smooth and hassle-free pick-up service, please send your arrival details to Sail Komodo Tour at least 2 days before your arrival date in Lombok or Labuan Bajo, depending on your chosen tour package. Providing accurate information in advance allows our team to coordinate transportation efficiently and ensure your trip starts comfortably.

Pick-Up Arrangement Requirements

For all tour packages, guests are required to provide:

  • Hotel or accommodation name

  • Pick-up location

  • Arrival details (if applicable)


A. Arriving by Flight

If you are flying into Lombok or Labuan Bajo, please send us the following information:

  • Airline name

  • Flight number

  • Scheduled arrival time

This information enables our team to monitor your arrival and arrange your airport transfer accordingly.


B. Arriving by Fast Boat

If you are traveling by fast boat, kindly provide:

  • Fast boat operator name

  • Estimated arrival time

This will help us coordinate your transfer from the harbor to the designated meeting point or accommodation.


C. Already Staying in Lombok

Guests who are already in Lombok before the departure date should provide:

  • Hotel or accommodation name

  • Exact pick-up address or area

Our team will arrange transportation from the specified location based on the agreed schedule.


Pick-Up Areas for Lombok to Komodo Trips

For guests joining our Lombok to Komodo Sailing Trips, complimentary pick-up service is available from the following locations:

  • Gili Trawangan

  • Gili Air

  • Gili Meno

  • Senggigi

  • Mataram

  • Kuta Lombok

If you are staying outside these areas, additional transfer fees may apply depending on the location.


D. Guests Joining Labuan Bajo Tours

For guests participating in around Labuan Bajo Tours, pick-up services are available from hotels and accommodations located within the Labuan Bajo area.

To ensure a timely transfer, please provide your accommodation details before your tour date.


Important Notice

Guests are responsible for providing complete and accurate arrival information. Any delays or inconveniences resulting from incomplete, incorrect, or late submission of travel details may affect pick-up arrangements.

By sharing your arrival details in advance, Sail Komodo Tour can ensure a seamless transfer experience and a smooth start to your Komodo adventure.

Step 3: Final Confirmation & Travel Preparation

Once we have received your arrival and pick-up information, the Sail Komodo Tour team will complete all necessary arrangements to ensure your journey runs smoothly from start to finish. At this stage, we will coordinate transportation, passenger registration, trip logistics, and other operational details to provide you with a comfortable and well-organized travel experience. If you have any questions, special requests, or require further assistance before departure, please feel free to contact our team at any time. Payment Terms

To secure your reservation, the following payment conditions apply:

Deposit Requirement

  • A minimum deposit of 30% of the total booking value must be paid within 24 hours after the invoice has been issued.
  • Reservations are only considered confirmed once the required deposit has been successfully received.

Accepted Payment Methods

The deposit can be paid through:

  • Bank Transfer
  • Other approved payment methods offered by Sail Komodo Tour

Transaction Fees

Any charges related to:

  • Bank transfers
  • Currency exchange
  • Credit card processing
  • International transactions

shall be borne by the guest.

Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the trip departure date. For bookings made within 7 days of departure, full payment may be required immediately.

Payment Verification

After making any payment, guests are required to send proof of payment to our team for verification and confirmation purposes.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that travel plans can occasionally change. Therefore, the following cancellation and amendment policies apply.

Rescheduling Requests

Guests wishing to change their travel date must submit a written request at least 30 days before departure. if you reschedule less
than 30 days before the trip date your down payment will forfeit (non-refundable) and we reserve the right to treat your as cancelled, unless your can get a substitution participant.

All date changes are:

  • Subject to availability
  • Subject to operational considerations
  • Not guaranteed until confirmed by Sail Komodo Tour

Additional administrative charges may apply.

Cancellation Fee Policy

Unilateral cancellation (from guest) down payment is non-refundable.

  • Cancellation 14 days before departure: 30% cancellation fee
  • Cancellation 7 days before departure: 70% cancellation fee
  • Cancellation 3 days before departure or less: 100% cancellation fee
  • No-show: 100% cancellation fee

All cancellation charges are calculated based on the total booking amount. All forms of losses caused by flight disruptions such as delays, flight cancellations, airport closures (suddenly) that’s are all not our responsibility (no any compensation / non- refundable). 
In circumstances where a trip is cancelled, postponed, or significantly affected due to events beyond the reasonable control of Sail Komodo Tour, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, government restrictions, port closures, pandemics, civil disturbances, or other force majeure events, refund and rescheduling options will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Any decision regarding refunds, travel credits, itinerary modifications, or alternative travel arrangements will depend on the specific circumstances and operational conditions at the time of the event. Sail Komodo Tour reserves the right to determine the most appropriate solution in accordance with safety requirements, supplier policies, and applicable regulations.

Medical Information

Medical Information

  • All participants are required to be in good physical health and fit to join the trip. By confirming a booking, guests acknowledge that they are physically capable of participating in activities such as sailing, snorkeling, swimming, and trekking.

  • Guests are requested to inform Sail Komodo Tour in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or special assistance needs so that reasonable arrangements can be made whenever possible.

  • A basic first aid kit is available onboard; however, guests are strongly advised to bring their own personal medications and health supplies, including prescription medicines, motion sickness tablets, pain relievers, and any other medications they may require during the trip.

  • Any medical expenses, treatments, emergency evacuations, or healthcare services required during the tour will be the sole responsibility of the guest.

  • Sail Komodo Tour strongly recommends that all guests obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance before departure.

Limitation of Liability

  • Sail Komodo Tour acts solely as a booking agent and intermediary between guests and third-party service providers, including but not limited to boat operators, transportation providers, accommodation providers, and other suppliers involved in delivering tour services.

  • Once guests have boarded the boat, responsibility for the operation of the boat, onboard services, crew performance, safety procedures, and all activities conducted during the voyage rests entirely with the boat owner, captain, and crew. Sail Komodo Tour shall not be held liable for any incidents, accidents, injuries (including death), losses, damages, delays, or service failures occurring onboard.

  • Sail Komodo Tour shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, personal injury (including death), illness, accident, delay, itinerary change, trip interruption, cancellation, or additional expenses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to actions or omissions of third party service providers, weather conditions, sea conditions, natural disasters, government regulations, port authority decisions, technical issues, or other force majeure events.

  • Guests are strongly encouraged to carefully review all booking terms, cancellation policies, and travel information before making any payment. Submission of payment shall be deemed as acceptance of all Terms and Conditions provided by Sail Komodo Tour. After completing a payment, guests are required to send proof of payment to our team for verification and booking confirmation purposes. We sincerely appreciate your trust with Sail Komodo Tour. If you require additional information or assistance before your trip, our team will be happy to assist you at any time.

Travel Insurance

  • Sail Komodo Tour highly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance before the start of their trip.

  • Travel insurance should provide coverage for trip cancellations, travel interruptions, medical expenses, personal injury, emergency evacuation, lost belongings, and flight delays or cancellations.

  • Having adequate travel insurance can help protect guests from unexpected situations that may prevent them from joining or completing their trip, including illness, accidents, personal emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Sail Komodo Tour shall not be responsible for any financial losses, additional expenses, or costs arising from trip cancellations, delays, interruptions, or a guest’s inability to participate in the tour due to reasons beyond our control.

  • It is the sole responsibility of each guest to ensure that they have appropriate travel insurance coverage that meets their individual travel needs.
